Borderlands 2 Patch Hitting April 2nd

This just in From Borderlands 2 developer Gearbox.  The patch, which will be free to those with the season pass, will hit the marketplace on April 2nd.  There is a long list of changes that will be made, these changes include:

• Increased level cap to 61 (including 11 new skill points to spend)
• New items to the black market (backpack upgrade and ammo upgrade)
• increase Eridium cap from 99 to 500 (FINALLY!)
• New Play through “Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode”
• new “Ancient” E-tech relics and rare pearlscent Weapons (Ultimate Vault Hunter mode drop)

There will be a free patch as well that includes everything but the Ultimate Vault hunter mode, and the level cap.    This is rolling out just in time for the next DLC “Krieg the Physco”  which will introduce a 6th playable class.  Stay with us for more information as it unfolds!
